On Thursday September 21st , a unique piece of street art was unveiled at the clubhouse of Berlin-based running club Berlin Braves in the honour of eliud Kipchoge
The street mural, depicts Eliud Kipchoge,a world recordholder in marathons in full sprint.
The artwork signifies the homecoming of the NN Running Team’s double Olympic champion to the city.
He’s set to compete in the BMW Berlin Marathon this Sunday, September 24th.
The mural was created through a strong partnership between the Dutch artist, Kamp Seedorf, Eliud Kipchoge’s professional running group, the NN Running Team and the management team at Global Sports Communication.

In the Berlin Marathon, a prominent event in the Abbott World Marathon Majors series, Kipchoge currently shares the record of four titles with Ethiopia’s marathon legend, Haile Gebrselassie.
Gebrselassie dominated the Berlin Marathon from 2006 to 2009. Kipchoge achieved victory in the Berlin marathon in 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2022.
He also set world records in 2018 and 2022. His remarkable performance last year further improved his own world record by 30 seconds, completing the classic distance in an unprecedented time of 2:01:09.
“We joined hands with Kamp Seedorf because we love the idea of street art meeting sports,” Marleen Vink-Rennings, marketing director of the NN Running Team said
“We have challenged ourselves to create a campaign that is online as well as offline and we hope runners and fans in Berlin will get inspired by the artwork of Kamp Seedorf,” he added.
The NN Running Team stands as the pioneer in global professional running teams, bringing together athletes hailing from Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, and Europe.
