Mwanamkunaji is choosing “violence” before he drops his new song. Kenyan musician Willy Paul decided to join Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones in naming themselves the best of East Africa in their respective genre of music.
In a video that he shared on his socials, Willy Paul claimed that Khaligraph Jones was the best rapper in East Africa while he was the best singer in East Africa. He went on ahead to throw shade at Tanzanian singers like Diamond Platinumz, Harmonize, and Rayvanny.
Willy Paul asked the Tanzanian singers to watch the new music video that he would release and learn from that. Willy Paul has grown a large following over his music career even after switching from gospel to secular music.
The njiwa hitmaker boasts of 1.11 million subscribers on his YouTube channel. The whole the artists he compared himself to seem to have way more than he does. Rayvanny has 4.6 million YouTube subscribers, Harmonize has 4.13 million subscribers, Diamond Platinumz has 8.05 million subscribers and Alikiba has 1.68 million subscribers.
Kenyan artists are known to do the most outrageous things before they drop a new song in search of clout. Willy Paul seems to use attention-seeking as his new PR tactic before his song releases.

In the video, Willy Paul also compares his muscles and to those of the Tanzanian singers. Accusing them of being more concerned with weight lifting and building muscles instead of their music.
Khaligraph Jones gave Tanzanian rappers a 24-hour headline to go the studio and prove they were better than him. He told them not to do Amapiano which was not real rap. Within those 24 hours, rappers from Tanzania like Rosa Rae have already done two diss tracks aimed at Khaligraph Jones.
