Poor people are known to behave in a certain way, relate with each other in certain ways, and also compete for resources in different ways. As the adage notes, survival for the fittest. Every day looks like the scramble of Africa. But why?
Does poverty take away the normal order of humanity, does it reduce to an extent the humane nature of man, does it kill the desire for positivity and increase egocentrism, or does it make one insecure because the neighbors are growing, or are all these just coping mechanisms? All these begs the question why?
Here are a few reasons why poor people FIGHT EACH OTHER
Social isolation: Poor people are often isolated from mainstream society. They may lack access to education, healthcare, and other resources. This isolation can lead to feelings of anger, resentment, and distrust, which can sometimes manifest in violence.
According to research, feeling of resentment and jealousy comes with the ideal nature of one not wanting to reduce the protection that comes from being in a certain territory.
Stress and frustration: Poverty can be a very stressful experience. People who are poor are more likely to experience anxiety, depression, and other mental health problems. This stress and frustration can sometimes lead to conflict and violence.
Limited resources: When people are struggling to make ends meet, they may be more likely to fight over scarce resources, such as housing, jobs, or food.
The idea behind this article is to erase the idea of killing, and reducing one’s growth rather than supporting it. Communities can come together in an orderly manner to share the little resources and support each other to an advanced stage.

A man is only out of poverty once his family members and close friends are out of poverty.
Instead of fighting each other, we should support and celebrate each other steps, goals, and achievements.
Poverty is the enemy, not your neighbor.
