A Canada-based company, Moon World Resorts has proposed the construction of a resort that takes the actual shape and design of the moon in Dubai.
The company, started in 2001, is looking to cash in on the influx of tourists exploring Dubai. The company’s co-founder said that the design of the resort is achievable and the company intends to make the dream a reality by 2027.

The project dubbed ‘MOON’ is expected to see similar resorts built in several locations across the world. These locations are Northern Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and North America. Dubai was chosen as the location of the first resort as the Canadian company surveyed the country to have the right prospects to be the pacesetter of the MOON project.
The resort’s architectural design is expected to look exactly like the full moon, complete with craters found on the actual moon. Inside the resort, there will be retail space for traders, spas for visitors’ relaxation, private residences, and spaces for recreational activities. However, the main attraction for tourists to the resort will be a simulation meant to make visitors feel like they are in outer space.

Moon World Resorts proposed the project to respond to the growing demand for space exploration by individuals. The resorts will be built purposely to create an outer space experience for visitors on Earth.
