Bruno Fernandes is Manchester United’s new permanent captain, replacing Harry Maguire after the England defender was stripped of the honour by Erik ten Hag.
It is nearly three years ago since Bruno Fernandes first adorned the captain hand band in a match against Paris Saint German.
Fernandes has scored 64 goals and contributed 54 assists in just 185 games for the club since joining in 2020 from Sporting.

Bruno has an on-field presence is commanding. He often takes charge of the game’s tempo, orchestrating play from midfield, and leading by example.
The 28 year old is also vocal and has constant communication with teammates, another good reason why Erik ten Hag has chosen him.
