Back before the Kim or Kylie were ever a thing, Paris Hilton shaped beauty standards of being a size zero with slim eyebrows.
Paris Hilton the propelled Kim Kardashian to fame and after their first season of their hit reality show, Keeping up with the Kardashians, she became famous and as her fame grew she not only influenced her fans but also her family to new beauty standards. Slim-thick became the new beauty standard.
Kylie Jenner then rose to fame quickly through her Tumblr pictures as well as her Kylie cosmetics worth billions. She introduced larger lips, fast fashion, coloured wigs and filters as the new beauty standard adding to what her big sister Kim started considering that she also allegedly got some work done to look like Kim, slim-thick.
After giving birth to her first child, Stormi, Kylie has been open about her insecurities with her body and face. Seeing Stormi have features that she tried to hide or alter has been an eye opening experience for her. In the July 20 episode of The Kardashians, Kylie sets the record straight on the plastic surgery misconceptions about her.
Kylie shares with her sisters, Kourtney and Khloé that they have to be careful and aware of the beauty standards they set. She went on to tell them that she sees so many young girls putting so many filters on their photos as a way to be part of the beauty standards. She shares how she relates to those girls because she was in that stage as well but goes on to say other people can make you feel insecure.

Kylie uses the example of her sisters on how they called her Dopey, from Snow-white and the seven dwarfs. Kylie said that made her insecure about her ears for years and as a result was never able to wear her hair up for years as a way to cover her ears. Khloé although clarifies they called her that because she had cute ears but Kylie says she did not interpret it that way. She tells them how after giving birth to Stormi, she noticed that her daughter had her ears and they were beautiful and now has been wearing an up-do hairstyle to every carpet event.
In a confessional, Kylie shares that unlike what most people think, she used to be very confident of herself.
One of the biggest misconception about me is that I was like this insecure child, and that I got so much surgery to change my face, which is false. I have only gotten fillers. I do not want that to be part of my story. I always want everyone to love themselves.

The Kardashians all-together have allegedly have had work done on themselves with Kris and Kim being slightly open about some of the work they have done while others like Kendall and Kourtney rarely talking about it.
