Mbappe has only one year left in his contract and him not signing a new deal creates a standoff with the club.
The 24 year old had a deal with the club which would see him stay at the club until the summer of 2025.
However,it was later discovered that it was actually until 2024 and the Mbappe had an option of extending.
Earlier his summer he wrote a letter to the club confirming he won’t be triggering the extra year.
🚨 Kylian Mbappé has informed PSG of his decision: he’ll NOT trigger the option to extend current contract until 2025, it means that deal would expire next June 2024 — as L’Équipé called.
