Kenyan Celebrities Speak Up On The Current State Of Governance

Kenyans are hungry and angry at the slow state in which the Kenya Kwanza government is progressing. With many protests barely a year into their tenure, the Kenyan economy is being seriously affected with roughly three million shillings lost during a day of protests according to KEPSA. Kenyan celebrities are also sharing their views on the state of governance and economy.

Kenyan rapper, Octopizzo shared that he believes nobody is trying to fix the problems in the country. Shedding light to the fact that most Kenyans are blinded in how they think as a country we are doing well by focusing on only a certain group of people. He highlighted that everyone is trying to fend for themselves and make enough money to sort themselves out and once they have secured a steady way of income they no longer sort to fix the country’s problem.

Social media personality, Theepluto shared his opinion on the leadership of the country. He claimed that the leaders in the current government are corrupt and thieves stealing from the people who voted them in.

Intstead of politicians, let the monkeys govern the countries; at least they will steal only the bananas.

Vivian Okumu also known as Swiry Nyar Kano shared that Raila Odinga has done nothing for the Luo community. She compared the roads of Kiambu county to that of HomaBay county and said that in comparison, Kiambu roads were way better. She pointed out that people should not be blindly loyal to Raila Odinga since he is being misguided by six people next to him who want to make money out of being by his side.

Miguna Miguna also shared his views on Twitter agreeing that the Kenya Kwanza government has let down the Kenyan people and that Kenyans expected more from them but all they have gotten is a high cost of living.
