The 26-year-old is studying public relations, customer service and community development at the German Institute of Professional Studies.
However, Isaiah Thiongo is unable to raise the balance of Ksh 78,000.
He sat for his Kenya Certificate of Primary Education in 2010 at Kangemi Primary and scored 178 marks.

Thiongo later joined an empowering program, Generation Kenya that sponsored him to pursue a certificate course in financial sales.

“I was one of the brightest students and also became a head boy in school but due to many challenges, I used to work on weekends at a carwash to support my mum and fund my education, besides working at construction sites,” he says.
