Jude Bellingham Completes Move to Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund

Its now official, Jude Bellingham is a Real Madrid player.

The 19 year old midfielder has signed a six-year deal with the Spanish club. It was reported that a £88 million transfer fee has been agreed between Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid.

After much speculations surrounding his future, Los Blancos have managed to get a deal for the English midfielder who was on the radar of English Premier League clubs like Manchester City and Liverpool.

They confirmed the signing on Wednesday morning.

The club is set to hold a presentation ceremony for Jude Bellingham today at 12:00 noon in Real Madrid City and later on he will make an appearance before the media.

According to BBC, Borussia have confirmed in a statement that Real Madrid have agreed to pay £88 million plus add-ons of which when achieved the deal could reach £115 million.

Last month details of Bellingham’s contract emerged featuring a €1 billion release clause which would make him their second highest earner behind Eden Hazard.

In a statement they wrote,

”Bellingham joins Carlo Ancelotti’s squad after three seasons in Germany. In the most recent of these, he recorded his best campaign for Borussia Dortmund in terms of goals (14 goals in all competitions).

He scored on his debut for the German side in September 2020 and became the youngest player to score in the club’s history (17 years and 77 days).

Real Madrid have labelled Bellingham as ‘one of the biggest talents in world football’ and they cant wait to watch him play.
