Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has called out for the arrest of a suspect accused of assaulting a pregnant woman in the presence of her three-year-old daughter.
The woman who was six months pregnant identified as Lucy Nduko, was assaulted by Martin, a man who is well-known by police officers in Masinga, Machakos. According to Sonko, the suspect is well-connected and untouchable. Lucy is now being threatened and forced to withdraw the case and get paid.
”The woman has been issued with a P3 form duly filled by a government doctor. Imeniuma sana because we have wives, sisters and children. All the woman wants is justice and not money.” Mike Sonko tweeted.

Mike Sonko shared the photos and lamented how no action has been taken against the suspect despite the matter being reported to the police under OB NO 06/29/5/23. Also, Lucy’s medical reports clearly indicate the extent of the assault.
Mike Sonko has vowed to pursue the matter until the woman gets Justice.
