Betty Kyalo has dismissed the trending rumor that she was dating Ex-Governor Joho stating that he was just being a nice friend, during an interview with Masawe Japani where she was accompanied by her sisters.
The Sister also confirmed that Joho was such a gentleman and had asked to help in case Betty needed anything at that moment.
“Tuliachana vizuri, He paid for everything for a whole year,” Betty stated.
According to rumors in 2022, Ex-Governor 001 tried shooting his shot, that he bought her a house on Lenana Road in Nairobi’s Kilimani neighborhood, a BMW X6, and a Porsche Cayenne, as well as settling all her bills for one full year in 2022.
The rumor sparks their relationship and was identified in a picture as netizens investigated, to know the owner of a handbag that was spotted on the plane as Joho and Junet went to visit Baba in Dubai, similar to one Betty had posted.

In an interview, Betty said that she met the politician after divorcing Okari clearing the idea amongst followers that Joho was part of the divorce reasons, She said, “Joho was also going through the same thing, a separation “and we connected on that level. We tried to have something and it gave me comfort because we understood where we were with each other. He was easy to talk to, hang out and have fun with. But after a few months, I decided that this was not what I wanted for myself.”
The relationship did not go for long with netizens speculating a lot of reasons why the two could not stay for long; being from separate religions, Joho wanting Kyalo to be the first lady and housewife that she wasn’t comfortable with, and a culture clash as was explained by Betty.
