Akothee’s wedding was a star-studded affair. Lang’ata MP Jalang’o, Wa Jesus Family, Azziad Nasenya, and other top Kenyan celebrities made up the singer’s bridal group.
The guest list was equally star-studded, with a vast number of celebrities turning up and even arriving hours before the bride to take selfies and display their glamorous outfits.

Janet Mbugua, Alex Mwakideu, Njugush, Sandra Dacha, PLO Lumumba, Dr Ofweneke, Lupita Nyong’o’s mother, and others are among those in attendance.
Akothee was driven to the event in a convertible car after departing the Boma Hotel where she had spent the night. Akothee was greeted by a chariot at the Windsor Golf and Country Club’s entrance, which carried her to the wedding set.
