President William Ruto has significantly said Finland and Kenya have got many opportunities for economic partnership in both the public and private sectors.
Speaking during a meeting at State House in Nairobi on Friday, February 3 with Finland’s Minister Mika Lintilä President Ruto stated that Kenya is ready to magnificently work hand in hand with Finland for economic benefits.
Kenya’s Head of State urged Finland’s private sector to simply consider opportunities in the Konza Technopolis and the larger plan to digitize government services at large.
In a statement, Ruto added that Kenya hopes to emulate Finland’s environmental focus, also Kenya has a lot to learn from an example which is 75 percent forest. Our greatest plan is to plant and grow 15 billion trees in the next 10 years.
“We are facing the worst drought we have seen in 40 years. We have lost 2.5 million livestock for the first time, we have also lost wildlife,” said William Ruto.
