The Kenya Kwanza Administration led by President William Ruto has warned the Azimio kingpin Raila Odinga with the countrywide demonstrations.
During a political gathering in Githurai Nairobi county, Odinga accused the Kenya Kwanya administration of not attending to the people’s demands including the lowering of the prices of basic commodities.
“Kenyans are purely suffering, struggling on a daily routine in order to get something to put in their stomach, and yet the government is not taking further actions to the situation”, Raila said during Githurai political rally.
President Ruto on the other hand ruled out the return of subsidies, claiming they benefited a few middlemen so called cartels.
Speaking in Mombasa county on Friday, February 24 during the ground-breaking of the Ksh 16 billion gas storage facility, President Ruto said that he had stabilized the economy, hence focusing on lowering of the cost of living to the Kenyan citizens.
