Armed Robbers Raid CS Jumwa’s Home, Steal Ksh 1.1M

Armed robbers raid Public Service Cabinet Secretary Aisha Jumwa’s Loresho home and flee away with Ksh 1.1 million and other valuables.

According to a police report filed on Wednesday, the robbers applied a simple but rather cunning method of accessing Jumwa’s compound.

Reports show that the robbery incident happened at about 1:45 pm when CS Aisha Jumwa was on daily official duty. The thugs went for the element of surprise striking at an unusually odd time when most people wouldn’t suspect any sinister ploy or robbery to occur.

Further, the gang entered the house and began stealing laptops, gold jewellery, and other house accessories.

At Jumwa’s house, the armed robbers went on to the bedroom where the two daughters were sleeping and robbed them of Ksh 1.1 million. Also, three mobile phones and unknown property were stolen.

The incident comes after Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi’s Karen-based house was raided by unknown people stealing a TV set and a gas cylinder.
