Gospel Artiste and food blogger Holy Dave on Thursday, January 12, appeared at a Kibera Law Courts where he is facing charges of assault.

He was charged that on October 1, 2022 at Gemini Lounge Adlife Plaza along Ring Road Kilimani, he unlawfully assaulted Keem David and causing him actual bodily harm.
Holy Dave denied the charge before Kibera Principal Magistrate Jacqueline Ojwang and is out on a cash bail of KSh.10,000.
The former TV presenter whose real name is David Musyoki Kimanthi is accused of assaulting a businessman at Gemini Adlife Lounge Club by hitting him with an empty Konyagi beer bottle.
According to police records, the out-on-bail artist is accused of hitting Keem with an alcohol bottle during an altercation at the club.
According to witnesses, Keem was sitting in the VIP section with two friends when a friend from another table decided to join them.
A guard stopped the said friend from joining Keem’s table, and he went to intervene on his behalf, and that is when holy Dave appeared.

He allegedly wanted to know why Keem was defending his friend from the security guard, and during the confrontation, he allegedly hit him on the left side of his face.
The victim had a deep cut near his eye on the left side of his face, and his clothes were soaked in blood.
Security guards escorted both Holy Dave and Keem outside the club.
The incident was reported to the police, and Holy Dave was arrested and charged with assault.
The police have also recovered CCTV footage of the incident, which will be used as evidence in the case.

Holy Dave had also reported to police that he had suffered an injury to his right finger that night.
