UBER has announced 30 percent discount on trips to and from the inaugural Nairobi street festival.
The festival will start on 12th December to 17th December .
This follows the collaboration between the mobility provider and the group in charge of planning the inaugural Nairobi City Festival, which will be held at Uhuru Park.
There will be a discount applied to each Uber ride to and from the festival made using Chap Chap Share (a system that connects you with a passenger traveling in the same direction as you).

There will be designated Uber pickup and drop-off locations in Uhuru Park.
“The festival is a celebration of all things that make up Nairobi culture and we’re so proud to be a part of this vibrant and exciting event. Uber will focus on providing a stress-free mobility experience, ensuring Nairobians can connect with what they love most about Nairobi,” explains Imran Manji, Head of East Africa for Uber.
The target of the organizers is up to 25000 people to attend the festival.
The Nairobi Festival is an opportunity to celebrate the essence of who we are as Nairobi, according to Governor Johnson Sakaja.
