Rachel Ruto the 1st Lady Wishes her Husband a Happy Birthday

Rachel Ruto took to Twitter to wish her husband President William Ruto a Happy Birthday.

The president of Kenya William Ruto turned 56 Years-old on Wednesday, December 21.

The day was filled with blessings for the couple for it also doubles as their wedding anniversary. The two met at a Christian Union Rally at the university of Nairobi where they soon became college sweethearts.

The first Lady Rachel Ruto was studying Education at Kenyatta University while her husband President William Ruto was studying botany and zoology at the university of Nairobi. They have grown together as a family and currently have six children together.

Rachel Ruto recalls that her husband William Ruto is a go-getter and before she accepted his hand in marriage she was told that she should be ready to marry a politician, a career that has its good measure of occupational hazards, to succeed.

President William Ruto already had his dream of becoming the president of Kenya and together they are currently living the dream proving Ruto is a relentless go-getter.

When President William Ruto was asked to describe his wife in the recently concluded Election he won, he would always describe her as a prayer warrior which is evident in the message she wrote for him on Twitter.

“Psalms 9:1 I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. Happy Birthday and happy wedding Anniversary Bill. The Lord has been Faithful,” Rachel Ruto wrote.

Rachel thanked God for keeping their marriage intact and for bringing them together.

She was not the only one who wished the president a happy birthday, but the comment section of that tweet was filled with congratulatory messages and well wishes from dignitaries and Kenyans from all walks of life sending felicitations to President William Ruto.
