Lagos Police have questioned Davido’s domestic Workers over the alleged drowning of David Adeleke Ifeanyi Jr, Davido’s son in their Banana residential home.
The Police earlier summoned Davido’s domestic workers for questioning after the drowning of David Adeleke Ifeanyi Jr, Davido’s three year old son lost his life in their Banana residence swimming pool on Monday 31st October 2022.
The domestic workers were around when the incident happened, however none of them reported to the police.

According to the BBC reports The Lagos state commander has confirmed that the eight domestic workers will remain in custody until the investigations are concluded.
Davido and his Fiancé Chioma Rowland are still in shock after losing their son, they have not talked to the media after this fatal occurrence.
Their deceased son’s body has been transported to the mortuary for preservation as the investigation is ongoing.
The late David Adeleke Ifeanyi Jr passed as due to drowning on Monday 31st October 2022.
This somber news was relayed to the public by Emeka Senator who is Davido’s Foster brother.
“The revelation was taken for granted. God, we are so sorry.” He stated on his social media account.
It was unfortunate that his death came after they had just recently celebrated his birthday where both his parents posted a sweet message for him being grateful that he was born, as Chioma Rowland wrote.
“Happy birthday to the love of my life. Mummy loves you so much, may God always bless you for me. God has been so faithful to us and I’m so grateful to be called your mummy. May you be greater than your parents in Jesus’ name, amen. Love you, twin!”
“I pray with all my heart that God grants you perfect health and pure happiness for as long as humanly possible. You will grow to be better than me, Happy birthday son.” Davido’s sweet birthday message to late son.
Both Davido and Chioma were away when the incident happened, and were only informed of their son’s demise after he was rushed to the hospital.
Celebrities and Politicians took to the socials to condole with the family through prayers and messages of hope to Davido’s family.
