Nairobi; The red light signal has shown the crime scene on the Nairobi streets as stabbing cases are being reported on a daily basis.
With the recent cases of stabbings in Nairobi, a concerned doctor at Kenyatta National Hospital-KNH has strategically revealed some of the areas where most of the stabbings have been identified.
Giving a full image, Dr. Lilian Munyua, in a social media post, stated that Kenyatta National Hospital receives a daily average of four (4) to seven (7) patients who have been stabbed in identified areas of Nairobi.
“The past two weeks have not been easy at the workstation. We have been receiving an average of Four – Seven stabbing cases daily from muggings around the Capital city. I have helplessly watched Men and Women, old and young, breathe their last while trying to save them,” the KNH doctor said in a statement.
She also added that most of the victims were stabbed on Thika Super Highway at the stretch between the Drive-In flyover and KCA University, the KCA underpass up to Total Exit, the Globe roundabout, and Kipande Road.
Other red zone stabbing hotspots include; the Fig Tree area in Ngara, River Road, ABC Place & Kangemi along Waiyaki Way, Naivas All Sopps along Thika Super Highway and the Central Business District-CBD (Archives), as well as around Kenya Broadcasting Corporation-KBC Offices around the University of Nairobi.

“If you have close friends and family members coming to Nairobi or residing here, please give them appropriate advice concerning the matter,” the doctor clarified in a statement.
“Please be careful, these killer criminals are simply stealing in daylight. If you resist the process, they will stab or shoot you. Just advise your family members and friends to avoid walking alone or getting late in the identified hotspots,” Dr. Lilian Munyua a doctor at Kenyatta National Hospital made a warning to the residents of Nairobi.
