Most campus girls are out here trying to make a living off married men popularly nicknamed, ‘sugar daddies” without understanding the price they have to pay.
We are in the 21st century. That means bills are becoming too much and there are no jobs. It gets worse for those young ladies who are on campus. Already, there is pressure to fit in, so they have to wear a certain way, go hang out at very high-end restaurants and clubs and live in very Porsche neighbourhoods.

Where does the money to sustain this life come from though? I’ll tell you. Some girls are fortunate enough to have fathers who are well-off, so money is not an issue. Then, there are those who are financed by other people’s fathers, if you get the gist. This is what happens. You want a good campus life; you get yourself a ‘mbabaz’. They will whisk away all the financial worries of your life with just a swipe of that ATM card. Heck, they could even take you to the Maldives if you pushed hard enough.

What people don’t understand is that all these good things come at a price. Quid pro quo if you will. You have to give sexual favours in return because sister, that old man isn’t doing what he’s doing out of the mere goodness of his heart. Not to mention, that man could be the literal embodiment of a disease bank. He carries all in the palm of his hand! (pun intended). If it is not that, then they ask for exclusivity.
That means you are not allowed to see anyone else except him, so if you have a boyfriend, please dump him soon enough. All this results in getting very tied down to a place that is almost toxic. Let us not forget the fear of getting caught by that man’s wife. My friend, she will kill you.
This is unwarranted advice, but I’ll give it anyway. If you wanted money that badly, then find a way to earn it honey. Get those part-time jobs we see being advertised on posters stuck on electric poles.
If you are a baby girl, and cannot afford to scrape your nails by working, then stick to simplicity. The hard truth of the matter is, that there is nothing that comes for free. So what are you willing to risk for an old man’s pocket change?
