Ivy Chelimo says she is going to take legal action against Alvan Kirui who claims that they were lovers.
According to Alvan Kirui Ivy Chelimo dumped him when she became famous, her parents were not happy with the relationship he had with Ivy Chelimo which caused the breakup.
The rumors came about when Ivy Chelimo got the opportunity to work at the Harambee House Annex office.
Chelimo was given an opportunity to work at Harambee Annex House by deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

On October 18, she addressed the rumors saying that she has no idea who Alvan Kirui is and he should refrain from using her images to spread false rumors.
“Please I do not know anyone by the name Alvan Kirui and I have certainly not been involved with the person claiming in any way whatsoever!! Disregard any information circulating regarding the same,” Ivy Chelimo said she added Please stop peddling lies using my name and photos. I will take legal action. Be informed. Actually, I mean it, it’s wrong for a man to peddle lies.”
Ivy Chelimo was addressing the tweet that Alvan Kirui posted on Twitter which says
“This will always be my favorite picture I took of you. I can’t believe your parents can advise you to leave me at my lowest. You know I love you, just remember all I’ve been doing for you, Ivy,” Alvan Kirui captioned this message on a picture he posted of Ivy Chelimo.
Ivy Chelimo is a social media influencer known to have come up with the name Riggy G. She has also appeared in the show the trend hosted by Amina Abdi. She became famous when she invented the name Riggy G a name given to the current Deputy President of Kenya.
