The signature OVO owl logo FC Barcelona limited-edition shirt will be worn by the men’s team this Sunday in what will be a celebration of the Canadian rapper and singer’s achievements in Entertainment. Drake has been one of the most astounding artists of the streaming era. From Thank Me Later in 2010 to this year’s Honestly, Nevermind. Spotify VP of partnerships Marc Hazan said,
“We were really excited to celebrate one of the biggest games of the year and mark Drake’s milestone as the first artist to reach 50 billion streams. We’ve always said that we want this partnership to be a celebration of fans, players and artist’s on a global stage—and there’s no bigger stage than El Clásico.”
The collaboration between Spotify and FC Barcelona began on July 1 this year and this will definitely be the perfect marketing strategy especially after Drake posted the image to his over 120 million followers on Instagram.
