Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has joined the list of politicians hilariously baptized new names by netizens, his currently as Riggy G.
After participating in political campaigns and the Presidential debate at Catholic University, many were curious to figure out the subject behind the viral nickname.
The anonymous person who has encouraged the development of several online memes has finally been identified as Ivy Chelimo.
According to reports, Ivy made the first tweet about Riggy G on July 19.

The nickname is obviously a cool shortened version of the DP’s name, Rigathi Gachagua.
She was also invited to the State House luncheon following the swearing-in ceremony on Tuesday, September 13 at the Moi Sports Complex Kasarani.
According to Mpasho, Ivy had gone MIA on Twitter but returned a day later to express her delight at being recognized for inventing the name.
“Ah naskia huku mumesema mimi ni celebrity . Riggy G to the world !!” she said.
Kenyans have also weighed in on the honor, with some suggesting that Ivy receive a Head of State Commendation.
The Head of State Commendation is one of the presidential awards typically bestowed upon outstanding Kenyans who selflessly serve the country.
