Senator Johnson Sakaja is leading the Nairobi gubernatorial race with a 53 per cent lead ahead of his closest opponent, Polycarp Igathe, who trails at 36 per cent.
The survey was conducted by Tifa Poll on August 1, where 520 respondents who are registered voters were interviewed.
With the August 9 Election only six days away, the number of undecided voters in Nairobi County decreased to 10 per cent, from 53 per cent in May.
Azimio La Umoja – One Kenya Alliance remains the most popular coalition at 50 per cent, while Kenya Kwanza is at 28 percent, with 22 per cent undecided on which coalition to back.

The survey indicated that Raila Odinga is the most preferred presidential candidate in Nairobi County at 52 per cent, while deputy president William Ruto is second at 34 per cent.
Roots Party’s George Wajackoyah is third at 5 per cent, and Agano Party’s David Mwaure has 1 per cent.
ODM’s Esther Passaris has the highest proportion of supporters for the Women Representative race in Nairobi County, at 44 per cent, while UDA’s Millicent Omanga is second at 28 per cent, with a drop to 27 per cent in the women’s rep contest.
ODM’s Edwin Sifuna also leads in the senate race with 47 per cent, while UDA Margaret Wanjiru trails at 19 per cent. The undecided vote stands at 33 per cent.
