The official release of the Kamtupe trailer, a new film slated to premiere on July 22, 2022, has been revealed by Kenyan rapper Kennedy Ombima, better known by his stage name King Kaka.
A government employee trying to find his relative in the incorrect neighbourhood is the subject of the new movie Kamtupe.
Thugs attack him and steal his laptop, which contains sensitive data that, if exposed, would put the entire nation in disarray.
Kamtupe, which was narrated by renowned media personality Jeff Koinange, also stars Jimmi Gathu, Stanley Obienji, Kelvin Musili, Femi One, Joyce Maina, and many others.
Additionally, incorporated into the movie is music by King Kaka, Otile Brown, Femi One, Kanambo Dede, Mbithi, and Jadi. King Kaka wrote and directed the Kamtupe movie.
The production company, record label, and media company for King Kaka, Kaka Empire, have all worked on the success of the movie.
The rapper shared his experiences and his evolution as a storyteller. King Kaka stated on his Instagram page that he was now interested in using films to express his stories.
“For the past 12 years, we’ve watched @thekingkaka tell stories in each and every one of his songs! And now we’re about to showcase his brilliant entrance into the film industry as writer, director and producer. This is major!!!” the rapper posted.
According to King Kaka, he hoped it would be a success and was eager to show Kenyans what he had prepared for them. According to the artist, the movie Kamtupe was scheduled to debut at a local theater.
