The first S.A Black Conference aimed at promoting and cultivating Pan-Africanism investment in the continent recently took place in South Africa.
The conference which traces its roots back in 2015, the program has till date empowered more than 800 black industrialists including women and the youths in their competitive industries.
Championed by President Cyril Ramaphosa, since its inception in the inaugural Black Industrialist and Exporters Conference showcased the progress of government measures in promoting access and transformation to more black industrialists in the economy and the opportunities that the Africa Free Continental Trade Area offers.
It also brought together small and medium business owners to show case progress by the government in the transmission to the economy.
The government aims to identify progress of the economy and provide information and efforts to increase export growth and job creation by black industrialist.
“Today there are over 300,000 black entrepreneurs who owns over half of small business in the formal sector who contribute to the black economic empowerment,” said Cyril Ramposa.
Angel investors from China and the United States were also in attendance to source for local partnerships with local franchises.
The black industrialist strategy aims at ensuring we secure great representability across the economy which generate job opportunity. The conference also served as the launch of the black exporter’s network aid that will increase exporter’s volume and creation of jobs.
