Journalists interviewed Martha who emphasizes that Azimio manifesto will deal with corruption once and for all. Martha Karua, NARC Kenya Party leader, in an interview with the press, has assured the delivery of results for Kenyans, promising that this will be her core role in the Azimio administration led by the former prime minister.
She emphasized that she would respect her boss and solve disputes within the coalition in togetherness and dignity offering Kenyan solutions. “I know the role that I was called to serve and that is to be Raila’s running mate. So, I will give him the respect he deserves, and likewise, he will do the same. If we have arguments, I will not be the type to talk evil of him. Sometimes, you may differ on opinions but such
things are solved behind closed doors. The public wants result and no other theatrics.” Karua said. Alluding to the role she played in the late Mwai Kibaki’s government, where she resigned prematurely due to people who frustrated her duties as a minister. She reiterated, “I respect my captain Raila and I will never disrespect him or Kenyans. I am ready to work for Kenyans; I pray that God guides me. We have fought this war on corruption before and with the right captains in office, the war shall be won.” NARC-Kenya party leaders took note of the need to complete pending projects as the Azimio administration they will ensure that president Uhuru’s projects are completed. “We promise to finish the projects that have been started and haven’t been completed. We will have a plan to finish up developmental projects be it County or National projects,” she added. Urging Kenyans that Azimio Coalition is the way towards winning the war against the country’s infestation with graft cases.
