Nigerian singer Mr Eazi and actress Temi Otedola are expecting their first child, months after their lavish multi-country wedding celebrations captured attention across Africa and beyond.
The couple shared the news through a series of black-and-white maternity photographs posted on Instagram, with fans and fellow celebrities quickly flooding social media with congratulatory messages. In one image, Mr Eazi is seen holding his wife as she cradles her baby bump in an open field.
Temi accompanied one of the photos with a biblical message that read: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, Before you were born I set you apart.”

According to an exclusive interview published by People magazine, the pair described themselves as “extremely blessed and grateful” as they prepare to welcome their first child together.
The announcement comes after months of speculation surrounding the couple. Earlier this year, Mr Eazi publicly dismissed false online claims that they had secretly welcomed a baby, calling out AI-generated rumours circulating on social media.
Mr Eazi, whose real name is Oluwatosin Ajibade, married Temi Otedola in 2025 after several years together. Their wedding celebrations stretched across Monaco, Dubai and Iceland, blending luxury, family tradition and Nigerian culture.

Temi, daughter of Nigerian billionare businessman Femi Otedola, has built her own public profile through acting and fashion, while Mr Eazi remains one of Africa’s most recognised Afrobeats artists, known for hits including Skin Tight and Leg Over.
In recent interviews, Temi admitted the early months of pregnancy were difficult, describing the first trimester as exhausting and filled with nausea. She said the experience had forced her to slow down after years of a fast-paced lifestyle.
The couple have not revealed the baby’s gender and say they are still discussing names with family members.
