Kenyan football fans can finally breathe a sigh of relief after organisers confirmed a new date for the highly anticipated Mashemeji Derby, which was postponed earlier today due to venue unavailability.
According to an official announcement released on Wednesday afternoon, the rescheduled clash between Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards, which was feted fo this weekend will now be played on Sunday, 7th December at Nyayo National Stadium.

The confirmation comes just hours after both Nyayo and Kasarani stadiums were deemed unavailable for the initial fixture.
The new date offers clarity following widespread fan frustration over yet another postponement of Kenya’s most iconic football rivalry.
With Nyayo Stadium now confirmed as the venue, both teams can return to preparing for what remains the league’s most heated and historic showdown.
