Morara Kebaso has intimated in a video published on his X page that he has a mole in his team, leaking information.
The allegations come after near misses with death, involving a road accident, food poisoning, and the attack meted on him at the Bomas of Kenya by goons during the public participation exercise on DP Gachagua’s impeachment.
“The truth is that in my team, the NIS put a mole a long time ago, despite discouraging Kenyans from speculating that my accident in Embu was planned, I have come to realize that the accident was planned,” Morara said.
The driver of the offending vehicle has so far disappeared without a trace and efforts to trace the vehicle’s ownership have been in vain as it leads to a dead end, registered to a non-existent company.
Morara said he has been sceptical about beefing up his security before owing to the high associated cost but the prevailing factors are dictating otherwise.
He further said that owing to the associated expenses, individuals have always fallen prey to people and organizations with deep pockets and ulterior motives, making them forget their mission, serving that of the masters bankrolling them.
“I’d like to assure Kenyans that I cannot be bought and will stay true to the mission I believe God has given me. I come from a family of fighters and I will not give up,” Morara said.
He says he has begun vetting members of his team to root out any miscreants that may prove fatal in the future. Morara has asked Kenyans to help him identify suspect individuals in his team and continue supporting him through financial campaigns to cater for the much-needed security.
