Steven Gerrard has rubbished speculations that Mason Greenwood will rebuild his career at Al-Ettifaq as reports suggested.

A report on Monday claimed that Al-Ettifaq were prepared to offer the forward a £10million-per-year deal. It was also suggested that other Saudi Arabian clubs were weighing up a move for the forward.

Steven Gerrard was appointed new head coach of Saudi Pro League side Al-Ettifaq in July having been sacked by Aston Villa last October
