Technology is ever so upgrading and updating. Generation Z has experienced some of the most epic technology milestones from electric cars to virtual experiences like concerts and to streaming services like Netflix.
Streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, Peacock and ShowMax has made it easier to pick and watch TV shows in the comfort of your home or whatever space you would watch your movies. With the increasing number of users to such streaming services, old TV shows are making a comeback through reboots.
Some reboots are successful and manage to continue with the storyline of the original TV show well enough that new show users watch the original show. The like of Sex and the City and Dynasty. On the flipside, other reboots do terribly and are cancelled due to reasons like inability to gunner as much views or bad critics in comparison to the original show. The likes of Gossip Girl.
This regardless does not stop film makers from recreating hit shows. Two shows that are already creating buzz are:
Fresh Prince of BelAir.
The Fresh Prince of BelAir was a big hit back in the 80’s. It was a comical starring Will Smith. The story line was of a boy, Will, who moved to Belair from Philly to live with his wealthy uncle, aunty and cousins. The reboot is Bel-Air that has already released two seasons and gotten amazing engagement.
It broke Peacock streaming records last year as the most watched series on Peacock. It is more dramatic staring a character called Will who also moves to Belair to live with his relatives because someone tried killing him back in Philly. We get to see how the other cousins, uncle and aunt live their lives as well.
