Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami debut has been confirmed by the clubs owners.
This is despite the fact that the Seven time Ballin d’OR is still under contract with Paris Saint German until July 1.
With final details still being ironed out, Messi on his free transfer to Florida said,” It was time to go to United States to live football in a different way.”

According to Mirror Football, owner Jorge Mas in a private interview confirmed that Messi’s debut will be on July 21.
Inter Miami will take on Mexican side Cruz Azul at DRV PNK stadium in the group stages of the League cup.
The stadium can host 18,000 fans but it is believed that Inter are looking to add 3000 more seats to cater for the sudden popular demand.
Tickets for Messi’s first appearance at the club are believed to be going at a whopping $20,000.
Mas has already revealed that security measures will have to be heightened in order to protect Messi and his teammates going forward.
Messi’s deal at Inter is said to be between $125 million and $150 million, making him the league’s highest earner.
