The Gunners are working on a deal to sign Jurrien Timber from Ajax. The discussions have been described as very positive and it appears both parties are collaborating to get the deal done.
According to reports, he will only depart if a top club came in for him. Timber who is estimated value is around €50m still has two years left on his contract.

The Premier League club have submitted a proposal worth around £30million for the Netherlands international. However , some reports have indicated that one bid has already been rejected and Arsenal are trying to work out a valuation and payment structure.
Timber has been on the Gunners radar since January and have been monitoring hi progress in the last season. The 22 year old is key since Arsenal is looking to increase competition in the defensive position.
Additionally, the club are continuing to work on deals for West Ham captain Declan Rice and Chelsea forward Kai Havertz.
