Rally Driver Maxine Wahome is set to be charged in court over the murder of her late boyfriend Asad Khan due to a disagreement that turned violent.
The prosecution on Tuesday, March 7, told the court that Maxine will be put on trial on Wednesday to be responsible for charges of murder.
The situation comes after the court directed the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) to file a report in court on whether they will charge her with murder or not.

The DPP has asked the court to detain Maxine at Kilimani police station so as to undergo a mental assessment before taking the petition of murder.
Asad Khan died in December last year after a domestic difference of opinion.

Maxine was arrested in December 2022 for claimed assault on Asad who was her boyfriend but later he passed on due to injuries he sustained.
