Kenyans were taken aback by the announcement, querying the government on why it would just decrease the price, which is now over 200, by 2 shillings only, and that it is too little and makes no difference.
Some questioned why the prices that were quick to be increased by over Ksh100, are only being reduced by two shillings.
Others said that there was no need for the price decrease if it was simply by two shillings.
