Sarah Kabu revealed that she and her husband Simon Kabu were expecting twins on January 2023 before she suffered from a miscarriage.
She revealed the unfortunate news in an Instagram post and confirmed the same while being interviewed by Eve Mungai, during an event celebrating the partnership between Bonfire Adventures and Britam Insurance.
“This is hard to type but sometimes back I lost my twins due in January. I’m trusting God for another miracle one day. My friends, prayers work. Simon thank you for standing with me during the difficult times,” Sarah wrote.
The topic came about when she was asked about the naming of Bahati’s child where Sarah Kabu suggested the baby’s current name. Sarah Kabu said she was expecting two bundles of joy before the unfortunate happened and she miscarried.
“I feel so bad, although I got to accept because I’ve been blessed enough with two beautiful babies. But imagine I was expecting some twins, which were supposed to be due in January. But things didn’t happen to be but we thank God for everything…” Sarah Kabu explained.

She reveals that she thanks God for her children and the blessings she has and is still hopeful she will have another baby some day.
Sarah says she came up with the name for Bahati and Diana’s child’s name Malaika after she saw the couple was looking for name suggestions. Sarah Kabu likes Swahili names and came up with the name Malaika which means angel in English but is more unique and less common in her eyes. When Bahati and Diana announced the birth of their newborn baby, Sarah Kabu was happy that they named their child Malaika Bahati.

Sarah Kabu is planning to visit newborn Malaika Bahati and had already organized for gifts to be delivered however, the gifts were stolen in London. This unfortunate occurrence happened when her husband Simon Kabu was meeting with the Kenyan UK ambassador.
The businessman left his car in the parking lot where the gifts were stolen.
“I can’t wait to visit her… Actually, I had talked to Bahati and told him that I have I’ve already like organized her gifts so when Simon comes back we are going to visit and see the baby now I feel so bad the gifts have been stolen but I think I will talk to one of my friends to go back to the shop and buy Others” Sarah Kabu said
