Inside Politics; Former Kisii County Governor James Ongwae and Janet Ong’era former Women Representative officially quits the Orange Democratic Movement-ODM party.
The two announced their resignations on Thursday, November 3, 2022, stating that they will significantly be on the developmental side.
“Simply on a high political note, we have today reached this decision having carefully taken a political roadmap with the outcomes from last Kenya’s August 9, 2022, General Election we have significantly decided to make the righteous directions,” the two politicians made a briefing to the media.
Given the outlined measures, James Ongwae and Janet Ong’era promised to announce their next direction in the coming days.
Magnificently, the two leaders highlighted key political issues and the road to prosperity agenda whereby they promise to be joining the developmental-mind set leaders and the party that focus on peace and unity.
Furthermore, the two leaders were strongly campaigning for the ODM party leader Raila Odinga for the presidency on August 9, Kenya’s general elections in which he lost to UDA party leader William Ruto.
Meanwhile, William Ruto succeeded Uhuru Kenyatta as the fifth president of the Republic of Kenya.
In addition, the Former Prime Minister and also the Azmio la Umoja kingpin is strategically losing key politicians from his ODM party defecting to other political parties.
