Method for Meat Biryani

1. Preparing and Cooking the Meat

  • Wash and cut the meat into medium pieces
  • In a bowl, mix the meat with: Yoghurt
  • Add Garlic paste and Ginger paste
  • Add Spices (turmeric, cumin, chili, coriander, salt)
  • Cover and marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes (or longer for better results)
  • Heat oil in a pot
  • Add sliced onions and fry until golden brown
  • Add tomatoes and cook until soft
  • Add the marinated meat and mix well
  • Let it cook on medium heat until the meat is tender and the sauce thickens and set aside

  • Wash the basmati rice until the water runs clear
  • Boil water in a separate pot and add salt
