Paris Saint-Germain and Flamengo will face off in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup final on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, in Doha, Qatar.
The match will be played at Ahmad bin Ali Stadium, with kickoff set for 8pm local time (17:00 GMT). It brings together the champions of Europe and South America in FIFA’s revamped club competition.
PSG reached the final automatically after winning the UEFA Champions League. The French side were crowned European champions after a dominant season that also saw them lift multiple domestic trophies.

Flamengo’s journey was longer. The Brazilian club won the Copa Libertadores before beating Cruz Azul in the Derby of the Americas. They then defeated Pyramids FC to book a place in the final. Flamengo also completed a rare double this year by winning the Brazilian league title.

The Intercontinental Cup features champions from all six FIFA confederations. It is played in a knockout format and runs alongside FIFA’s expanded Club World Cup, which now takes place every four years.
This will be the first competitive meeting between PSG and Flamengo.
PSG possible lineup:
PSG head coach Luis Enrique rested several key players in their last league match. Bradley Barcola, Joao Neves and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia are expected to return. Achraf Hakimi and Marquinhos are ruled out with injuries, while Ousmane Dembele remains doubtful due to illness.
