NAIROBI — Kenya has issued a high-alert security advisory to its citizens living in Israel and Iran, urging them to stay indoors, limit movement, and register with embassies as tensions between the two countries continue to rise.
Principal Secretary for Diaspora Affairs Roseline Njogu delivered the advisory on Wednesday, stressing the growing danger to Kenyans living in both countries. “The safety and well-being of Kenyans abroad remain our utmost priority as the situation in the Middle East continues to evolve,” Njogu stated.
Fighting between Israel and Iran has escalated in recent weeks, leading to disruptions in air travel, increased military deployments, and warnings from multiple governments to their citizens abroad.
