President Ruto’s 7 Children, What We Know About Them

The President arrived in the United States with three of his children, all young ladies. Not much is known about them, but Charlene Ruto is the most visible, frequently making public appearances and maintaining an active presence on TikTok. How many children does the President of Kenya have, and who are they?

The President has seven children: six biological children and one adopted child. Here is information already in the public domain about his children;

  • 1. Nick Ruto

Nick, a lawyer by profession, had a Koito ceremony in 2022. Koito is a traditional Kalenjin ceremony where in-laws meet to discuss the dowry of the bride-to-be. He married Evelyn Chemutai. The current Cabinet Secretary for Roads, Transport, and Public Works, Kipchumba Murkomen, and Uasin Gishu Senator Jackson Mandago attended his Koito. He and his wife welcomed their first grandchild, who was also the President’s first grandchild.

  • 2. June Ruto

In 2021, June married Nigerian tycoon Dr. Alexander Azenagu. Their wedding was attended by Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi. As of 2022, June was serving as Kenya’s Charge D’affaires in Warsaw, Poland. A charge d’affaires is someone who heads the embassy in the absence of the ambassador. She holds a bachelor’s degree in diplomacy from USIU.

  • 3. Charlene Ruto

It is easy to find information about Charlene because she is very active in the community. She works with the deaf community and is a National Blood Ambassador, passionate about donating blood to save lives. At 31 years old, she is also known for her benevolence. On Christmas day in 2023, she surprised people by blessing them with shopping vouchers while riding different matatus. An interesting fact about her is that when Benny Hinn came to Kenya, she asked him to pray for her to find a husband. Charlene studied Communication at Daystar University.

  • 4. Stephanie Ruto

She graduated from Strathmore University in 2019 with a degree in Law. She joined her father in registering for Huduma Namba in 2019.

  • 5. George Kimutai Ruto

He is a pilot. In 2023, he represented his dad at a church in Eldoret where he handed the church 3 million. He was also with the president when he went to register for the Huduma Namba.

She came to be known by the public in 2017 when her mother accused the president of neglecting her. The president who was deputy president then, acknowledged that she is his daughter. She went to Alliance Girls’ High School. She is said to be studying Law at the university.

7. Nadia Cherono Ruto

She is the President’s adopted daughter. She attended the 2024 WRC Safari Rally with the President.
