LeBron James Reaches 39,000 Points as Lakers Cruise Past Jazz

LeBron James reached another milestone scoring his 39,000th point in the Los Angeles Lakers’ 131-99 win over the Utah Jazz in the NBA In-Season Tournament.

Having already surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s 38,387 points last season to become the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, LeBron achieved this milestone in the opening moments of the first quarter.

James continues to shine with an impressive average of 26.4 points per game, a testament to his remarkable longevity in the sport.

In the LA Lakers latest win, LeBron contributed 17 points, nine assists and seven rebounds.

However,Anthony Davis had a stellar performance with 26 points and 16 rebounds, playing a key role in the Lakers’ dominance.

D’Angelo Russell chipped in with 20 points and eight assists, and Austin Reaves contributed 19 points. Additionally, Christian Wood achieved a season-high of 16 points for the Lakers.

With a 7-1 home record this season, the Lakers are likely to host a quarterfinal game as they progress to the knockout stages of the in-season tournament.

Their victory against the Jazz marked their sixth win in seven games.
