Two schoolgirls are seen riding down a calm road in short security footage that has gone viral on social media. When two males on a motorcycle pass them one of the riders snatches one of the girls’ scarves, and their tranquil journey is disturbed. The girl’s sudden action causes her to lose control of her bicycle and crash into a motorbike that is approaching from behind. She gets tragically run over by a third motorcycle that is coming from the opposite direction during the subsequent pandemonium.

The deceased girl’s father, Sabhajit Varma, said that he received a distress call from his niece, the other girl on the video, and quickly drove to the location. Doctors informed him that his daughter had been “brought dead” after he hastily carried her to the medical facility in a small vehicle. The girl’s jaw was entirely broken, and she had died from severe head injuries.

The girl died last month in the Ambedkar Nagar area of Uttar Pradesh, a state in northern India. Since then, the police have detained three individuals, one of whom is reportedly a kid, and are still looking for a fourth person. Varma claims that despite visits from government representatives, including a state minister, he has not received any compensation after the loss of his daughter.
