Kenyan comedian and content creator Andrew Duncan Oduor commonly known by his stage name 2Mbili shared that he has been a homeless man for quite some time. 2mbili shared this during a Q&A session on his Instagram.
During a Q&A session, one of his followers asked him when he would do a house tour for his followers to see where he lives. He responded to the question by saying that he had been homeless for three months.
“I am currently three months homeless. Nalalaga kwenye usingizi imenipata. Usinuhurimie niko na BMW. It is my very personal space.”
When it was shared on one of the Kenyan blog sites on Instagram, Kenyans were quick to share their opinions on the matter. Most Kenyans make fun of his situation. 2Mbili was then prompted to respond in the comment section.
“It just looks like a joke until you are close to me!! Unaomba mtu place ya kulala anaanza tu kucheka coz uko na Bimmer.”
He later reposted the content from the Kenyan blog on his Instagram story to set the record straight. He clarified that he was not broke just homeless.
Last month the comedian shared that he has been having a rough two months. He shared that he had been pretending to be okay to put a front but he was not. He went on to disclose that he has been living in his car, friend’s houses, and hotels.

“It’s Fine, not to Be Fine!! The Past 2 months Have Not Been Easy … Just keeping My Cool & pretending All is Fine! Maybe Someday I will make you understand Why for the past few months I have been spending the nights in the cold streets, sleeping in my cars, hotels, friends’ places, etc.” 2Mbili wrote.
