Napoli’s forward, Victor Osimhen is considering the right to take legal action against his own club following a bizarre video that appeared to mock him.
The video was briefly posted on Napoli’s official TikTok account and was later deleted.
The striker’s agent Roberto Calenda released a statement on X which read,”What happened today on Napoli’s official profile on the TikTok platform is not acceptable. A video mocking Victor was first made public and then, but now belatedly, deleted.”
“We reserve the right to take legal action and any useful initiative to protect Victor.”
The Nigerian striker missed a late penalty in a goalless Serie A draw against Bologna on Sunday and the video featured a clip of the striker’s penalty miss with an odd, sped-up voice.
The peculiar social media clip followed what seemed to be tention between Osimhen and Napoli manager Rudi Garcia during the match.
The 24-year-old striker was not happy when he was substituted with only four minutes left.
