This was his second appearance for the club, having arrived nearly a month ago, with his initial appearance being a late substitute in the weekend match against Burnley.
“I’m not at my best at the moment because I’ve not had a perfect pre-season and a little injury,” Amrabat said in an interview after the Carabao Cup match.
“I’ve trained really hard the last two or three weeks to get to 100 per cent but I need games. If you play games you get stronger and better,” he added.
On making his first appearance at Old Trafford for United, the Fiorentina loanee continued,”Since I was a child I worked for this. I worked very hard my whole career, my whole life for this. To play here is amazing.”
