Harry Kane: Bayern Munich Agree Deal With Tottenham for England Striker

The football world is a buzz with the news of Bayern Munich’s agreement with Tottenham Hotspur for the transfer of England striker Harry Kane.

Bayern’s final offer of around £86million on Friday was increased this week to £94.6million.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is holding out for £100million and it remains to be seen if the £5.4million less will get the deal done.

Kane, 30, has one year left on his contract with Spurs and must now make a decision about whether or not to leave.

Widely regarded as one of the most prolific goal scorers in recent times, Kane’s move to the German giants marks a significant shift in the landscape of European football.

Rising through the ranks of Tottenham Hotspur’s youth system, Kane broke into the senior team in 2009 and quickly established himself as a force to be reckoned with.

Harry Kane is Tottenham’s all-time record scorer with 280 goals in 435 appearances.

The striker’s future in London has been uncertain for several seasons while a number of Bayern bids were rejected earlier this summer.

As Kane weighs up what to do next, Tottenham will be in preparation mode for their Premier League opener on Sunday, where they will face Brentford.
